Sydney passed away a little after 3:00pm today. She will be missed by her family, but heaven delights in her sweet presence.

I can’t imagine the heartache of losing a child. As I prepare to say goodbye to my father, I can only imagine the pain that Shaun and Sylvie are feeling. “Oh, Lord Jesus, please hold them tight.”

Sylvie, you have been a wonderful, wonderful mother to your sweet baby girl. You showed great courage and faith as you hid your heartbreak in order to surround Sydney with love and smiles in her last days. Thank you for generously sharing this journey. I believe we witnessed the Holy Spirit walk with you, giving you uncommon grace as Sydney made her way to heaven. May you be blessed with many years of love and happiness before that glorious heavenly reunion.
