Update on Kassandra

I received this wonderful message from Kassandra’s mother:

Dear Karen,

I just wanted to let you know that Kassandra had her surgery on December 4th, 2009. It was the longest 3 hours of my life.  The surgery was a success and she is doing AWESOME.  The doctor says that she has had one of the best recovery times that he has ever experienced.  He said that most kids don’t bounce back and tolerate the pain as well as she did.  She was running around and back to normal after 1 day.  Thank you so much for helping me thru this.  I have a friend who her new born twin child is about to have open heart surgery tomorrow. I have been there for her and am helping her thru this like you have been for me.  Thanks for all the helpful advise and prayers.  I honestly believe that the power of prayer pulled Kassie thru.  She had some many people behind and watching out for her.  Thanks again.
