My daughter Sarah is getting ready for papvr*/tapvr repair surgery. She is 9 months old and has struggled with lung infections and illness since she was 3 months old. She will be in Dupont Hospital for children within the coming weeks. Though scary and overwhelming, I am keeping my faith the lord will be with her and pull her through this.
Please pray for little Sarah and her family during this anxious time.
*PAPVR = Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return
Update: Sarah’s surgery has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 4.

Sarah is so beautiful! I will keep her in my prayers, especially on May 4th. Love on her, kiss her. Ignore the tubes and IVs that Sarah will have after the surgery, and just focus on your baby. She will be kept comfortable and your love will ease her soul. God will be with her, God will be with the surgeons. Pray for peace, pray for strength and you shall receive it. And when she awakens and she is discharged, breathe deep and allow yourself to cry tears of joy and thanksgiving.
