I received an email from Heidy requesting prayer for her son:
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY LITTLE MAN COEN. HE IS 6 WEEKS OLD AND IS FACING HIS SECOND SURGERY SINCE BIRTH. HIS FIRST SURGERY WAS A COARCTATION OF HIS AORTA AND HE IS NOW PRESENTING PAPVR. GOD BLESS.
I’m posting it exactly the way I received it–all caps. I’ve always associated all caps with shouting. Let me tell you, my friends–when your child is facing a health crisis, that’s exactly what you feel like doing. Shouting.
But you suck it up, because you don’t want your kid to know you’re scared. So I’m praying for little Coen. And Heidy, I’m praying for you, too. May He give you strength and peace.
Update: Coen is scheduled for another surgery on Monday, September 20th.
