I'm so happy to be a join your website. I've needed to reach out to a friend and perhaps Sylvie can help me. I'll ask her.

Kindest regards,
Barbara

That was a beautiful prayer. I was googling Scinitar when this site was one that came up. I had surgery for this when I was 4 years old at Children's Memorial in Chicago and it was a sucess because I am now 38 years old and have led a perfectly normal life as a wife and mother. I thought I would share this with you to give you hope for your child to grow up and become everything that he ever dreamed of becoming. God bless you and live everyday to its fullest.

I was googling Dr. Bove and came across your site. Dr. Bove is about to perform the 2nd surgery on our son Aidan on Sept. 14th. The picture you have posted is with our son Aidan after his first surery with Dr. Bove back in 2005. They were running the "Michigan Difference" campaign then and asked if it would be OK to photograph Aidan with Dr. Bove. He is an amazing man....thank god for giving the gift to him. He changes lives on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

Karen,

It was a real treat to visit your site and learn more about Nathan and your family's incredible journey. As I read through the diary and your award winning story, I laughed and cried and prayed all the way through it.

Having known the Blakeney family for most of my life, I have always had a special place in my heart for each of you. Now the place is just a little bigger as I have come to know and understand a little bit better all that you've gone through.

Thank you for sharing. I know you are blessing others. I know it certainly blessed me.

May God continue to bless you all with a special sense of His Presence, His Power and His Provision for all you need.

Hugs,
Susan

What a gift that you have put his tribulation, trials and emotions on paper . . .that in itself was a healing journey for you. I believe we grew up near one another . . .you lived near the Metts family over off of Texas Avenue; my cousin Tina, etc. I am Maria . . .the cousin who lived away from the Coast for a good long time. This is in my heart.

Nathan's story is inspiring. I was diagnosed with scimitar syndrome when I was eleven and had surgey to correct the problem. Now I am 29 and very healthy thanks to the doctors that helped me. Thank you for sharing your experience with others.

This is an absolutely wonderful site. Nathan is handsome, articulate and an angel. I love Finder's Keepers...if you don't mind I would like to share that when I speak...how encouraging that is to be reminded by a child. His heart is sound. I would like to know more about your incredible son. Blessings, kandi
